Help Us Build a New Playground
God’s Children Ministries is currently seeking grants, sponsorships, financial donations, materials, equipment, and in-kind contributions to support the development of a new playground benefiting children served through our community partner, Bees Christian Academy.
Help Design & Furnish a Classroom
You can also make an impact by helping us create welcoming and developmentally appropriate learning environments for children.
At God’s Children Ministries, we believe every person in need is one of God’s children. Helping them is how we live out the call of Scripture. You do not have to share our faith to give or serve alongside us. Generosity comes from the goodness of the heart, and everyone who wants to help is welcome.
GOD’S CHILDREN MINISTRIES
Give Hope. Support a Child. Strengthen a Family. Transform a Future.
God’s Children Ministries exists to support children and families experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, unemployment, and other barriers that make it difficult for them to become self-sufficient.
We believe helping a family sometimes begins with something as simple as providing a safe place for a child to learn and play while a parent goes to work, attends school, participates in job training, or rebuilds after a difficult season.
Through donations, grants, sponsorships, and community partnerships, God’s Children Ministries seeks to provide practical assistance that gives children safe environments and gives parents opportunities to move toward independence.
PROJECT 1: BUILD A PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN
Help Us Build a Place Where Children Can Play, Learn & Grow
God’s Children Ministries is raising funds to support the development of a safe, engaging outdoor playground for children served through our community childcare partnership with BEES Christian Academy.
Children need more than a classroom. Outdoor play supports physical activity, social interaction, creativity, confidence, and healthy childhood development.
Our goal is to help create an outdoor environment where infants, toddlers, preschoolers, Pre-K students, and school-age children can safely enjoy age-appropriate activities.
Donations may help fund:

PROJECT 3: SPONSOR A CHILD’S CHILDCARE
No Parent Should Have to Choose Between Going to Work and Having Safe Childcare
One of the greatest barriers facing parents who are trying to become financially independent is the cost of childcare.
Some working families do not qualify for state childcare assistance even though they still cannot comfortably afford the full cost of childcare.
Other families may qualify for assistance but are waiting for their applications to be processed or approved.
During that waiting period, a parent may still need to work, attend an interview, begin a new job, participate in training, or attend school.
Without childcare, these opportunities can disappear.
God’s Children Ministries wants to help bridge that gap.
Through our Sponsor a Child Childcare Assistance Fund, donations can help eligible families with childcare expenses while they work toward financial stability.
Assistance may include short-term childcare scholarships, partial tuition assistance, temporary assistance while a family awaits a childcare subsidy decision, and emergency childcare support.
Sponsor Childcare
$50 – Contribute toward emergency childcare
$100 – Help with childcare expenses
$250 – Provide substantial short-term childcare assistance
$500 – Sponsor a portion of a family's childcare needs
$1,000+ – Become a Family Childcare Sponsor
Our goal is not simply to pay a bill. Our goal is to remove one of the barriers preventing a parent from working and becoming financially independent.
PROJECT 4: SPONSOR A PARENT
Help a Mother Rebuild Her Career and Her Life
Families experiencing homelessness or housing instability often need more than temporary housing.
A parent may need employment skills, professional training, career coaching, a stronger résumé, interview preparation, certifications, and guidance entering or returning to the workforce.
God’s Children Ministries is seeking donors and sponsors to help mothers and other eligible parents living in shelters or transitional housing obtain career-development and workforce training.
Through partnerships with career-development and training providers, including TMEP Career Coaching Institute where appropriate, sponsored participants may receive career services designed to improve their employment opportunities.
Support may include:
-
Career assessment
-
Career coaching
-
Résumé development
-
Interview preparation
-
Professional development
-
Job-search assistance
-
Project management training
-
Quality assurance and quality control training
-

-

$250 – Training assistance
$500 – Career-development scholarship
$1,000 – Major training scholarship
$2,500 – Sponsor a professional training program

When you sponsor a parent, you are investing in more than a training course. You are helping someone develop the skills needed to pursue employment, support their children, and move toward long-term independence.
PROJECT 5: TRANSITIONAL HOUSING & SHELTER SUPPORT
Help Give a Family a Safe Place to Start Again
God’s Children Ministries seeks to expand its ability to assist mothers and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Our long-term vision includes safe transitional housing where eligible families can receive temporary housing while working toward employment and permanent independence.
But housing requires housing.
We are inviting individuals, churches, businesses, developers, real-estate professionals, and property owners to partner with us.
Have a House or Property You Want to Use to Help Families?
We welcome conversations regarding potential donations of appropriate:
-
Single-family homes
-
Townhomes
-
Multifamily properties
-
Residential buildings
-
Land
-
Transitional-housing properties
-
Other suitable real estate
Property owners may also contact the ministry about other charitable arrangements that could support the transitional-housing mission.
A donated home could become the place where a mother and her children begin again.
Potential property donations should be reviewed individually with appropriate legal and tax professionals before transfer.
PROJECT 6: FAMILY INDEPENDENCE FUND
Childcare + Housing + Education + Employment
Our vision is to address several barriers at the same time.
Imagine a mother entering a shelter without employment and without the money to pay for childcare.
God’s Children Ministries wants to help create a pathway where she can receive temporary support, secure safe childcare for her children, participate in career training, search for employment, begin working, save money, and ultimately transition into stable independent housing.
That is the purpose of our Family Independence initiative.
We are seeking grants, corporate sponsors, churches, foundations, and individual donors to help us build this continuum of support.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP
You can make a difference by:
Donating Money – Support the program or project most meaningful to you.

EVERY GIFT HAS A PURPOSE
A $25 gift can help put learning materials into a child's hands.
A $100 gift can help provide classroom or childcare support.
A $500 gift can help a family overcome a significant childcare or career-training barrier.
A $2,500 gift can provide substantial support toward career training, classrooms, or family assistance.
A $5,000 or $10,000 gift can make a major impact on one of our community projects.
And the gift of a home or property could help provide families with something priceless:
a safe place to rebuild their lives.

Matthew 25:35-36
